Retirees and Insured People have Free Transport at These Points

2026-03-24 - 23:05

Patients, retirees and insured individuals who visit the City of Health now have a solution that saves them time, money and effort: a completely free internal transport service that connects the main areas of the hospital complex. This system operates from Monday to Friday, from 4:30 am to 6:30 pm, covering the route between the Cardiovascular and Thoracic Institute and the High Complexity Pediatric Hospital, two of the busiest points. The journey takes approximately 20 to 25 minutes, but the best part is that the buses run continuously. There are two buses operating on complementary schedules, making continuous trips and picking up passengers at the Metrobus stops located outside the City of Health complex. During the tour, the drivers announce each stop, allowing users to easily orient themselves, especially those visiting the complex for the first time. In addition, the units are equipped with ramps for people with disabilities, guaranteeing access for everyone without exception. This service has become a key support for patients and their families, especially in times when time and mobility make a difference in medical care.
